Linda is an advocate with over ten years of diverse experience in litigation and commercial law. Prior to establishing Aluvale & Company Advocates in 2017, She gained experience from three top-tier law firms, being TripleOKLaw, Kaplan & Stratton Advocates and Hamilton, Harrison and Mathews Advocates.
Linda has worked with a large and diverse client base including local and international clients, state corporations and non-governmental organisations. She also has boardroom experience and has been involved in the successful restructuring of several companies.
Jackline has a keen interest in Commercial Law, Real Estate and Property Management. She has previously worked with the law firms of Gicheru & Company Advocates and Katwa & Kemboy Advocates as an Associate during which she received intensive training and gained vast experience in commercial law, conveyancing and litigation.
Jackline joined the DL Group of Companies Limited in February 2016 as a Legal Manager during which she oversaw complex commercial transactions including the establishment of the first Special Economic Zone in Kenya valued at Kshs 200 billion and the acquisition of the several tea companies in Tanzania by the DL Group worth Kshs 6 billion.
Jackline currently advises a wide range of clients on corporate and commercial matters including joint venture arrangements and mergers & acquisitions. She is also engaged in various due diligence assignments.
Notably, Jackie was part of a team of legal advisors to the developers of a 90MW Solar Energy project in Kenya and took part in the negotiations of the power purchase agreement with the national offtaker.
Mildred joined the firm as an Associate in February 2019 having previously worked as an intern in the Court of Appeal. Her interest areas include litigation and dispute resolution. She also assists in Commercial and Real Estate matters.
